Digital Design is the most recent subject that I discovered as an area of interest for me. I discovered the subject when I took a design rhetorics course as a graduate student and found a knack for using this software. With the help of a highly skilled professor, I was able to become comfortable with the software and create a few well-designed projects. When I have time, I would like to further my skills with this software and create some more amazing work that I know I’m capable of.
In my Design Rhetorics (NMS 508) course, I learned a lot of valuable skills that helped my become a skilled digital designer. I primarily worked with Adobe InDesign which allowed me to put together a variety of projects, from creating different versions of a musical festival poster to creating a magazine spread. As well, I learned to work with InVision which allowed me to create an interactive mock-up of a mobile application for my final project.
